I had heard a helluva lotta things about dA, so I thought I take a look. And I am glad I did, cause I love art. I myself am not really an artist, but I love to enjoy artworks of other people, so yeah, that's the main reason I joined this awesome site :D.

Tasteful and tasteless

Nudity. Dirty? Filthy? Controversial? Wrong?

Well, that depends really.

Because there are two kinds of nudity.

Tasteful nudity and tasteless nudity.

Tasteless nudity is those random softcore porn you find all over the internet, with only one purpose, to turn you on. But tasteful nudity has a second purpose (which is actually the primary purpose), to amaze you with its artistic value. And that can be a very beautiful thing. It'll make you forget all about the "dirtiness", the "filthiness", the "controversy", the "wrongness" etc.
